redhat is amazingly simple to install,
even though i am very weary of
RPM's.
i'm a big fan of makefiles and
the like,
but redhat is a safe bet. i believe
we
run the lastest stable release
at my
work. we haven't had any problems
thus
far.
bsd is definilty the best and it
has the
most "user-friendly" installation
methods
for updating the kernel. basically
it'll
find and install everything you
need for,
somewhat like RPM's, but better.
although personally i love slackware
and
there isn't any real reason why
except
for the fact that i am very familiar
with
the directory structure.
